Dinner Church: All Saints' Night

  • 5341 Kincaid st Pittsburgh, pa USA (map)

On Monday 11/5 we will celebrate All Saints’ Day together. All Saints’ is a day in the Christian calendar to recognize and give thanks for those who have died, but their stories and legacy has shaped us for the better in our faith and practice. You’re invited to bring photos, icons, images of those who you want to honor on this night— be them relatives, saints, writers, musicians, artists, mentors…whoever! We will together create an icon (a piece of art for the purpose of looking “through” the person and story to the Divine) of the saints of our community.

Join us every Monday at Dinner Church for conversation, prayer, and communion. We'll provide a main course for dinner, and encourage others to bring a side, drink, or dessert to share!

What to expect:

5:30-6pm : Set up & time to catch up

6pm: Opening prayer

6-7:30pm: Dinner and Scripture reading

6:30-7:15 Sharing stories and creating the Icon

7:15-7:30 Closing prayer and communion

Come for the whole evening or just a part of it! You're welcome anytime.

These gatherings are kid-friendly, LGBTQ+ affirming, and open to all!
