Pub Talk with Tony Norman: Reflections on Election Day: Going Forward After Nov. 6, 2018
Join us as we explore the intersection of politics, journalism, and faith with Tony Norman, award-winning columnist, associate editor, and book review editor at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
In light of the midterm election results (whatever they may be), Norman will reflect on how two years of the Trump presidency and Republican control of the legislative branch, the present state of white Christianity in America, and his own commitment to Christian identity have affected how he approaches column writing.
What is a "Pub Talk"?
Sanctuary's Pub Talks welcome a variety of speakers, artists, and musicians exploring the intersections of faith, culture, science, art, politics, and justice. We seek to draw on the best of public house history-- a place to share a drink, build community, and discuss pressing issues of the day.
**Pub Talks are FREE and open to the public. We provide light appetizers. Drinks and other food can be purchased at Full Pint. We are so grateful for Full Pint's hospitality, and encourage all Pub Talk attendees to make purchases and tip well.
