Social Gathering : Liberation Theology from Palestine to Pittsburgh

  • Full Pint Wild Side Pub 5310 Butler Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15201 United States (map)

Once a month we gather at Full Pint in Lawrenceville for food, drinks, and conversation. Each month focuses on a different topic, with speakers, artists, or musicians offering the community gathered content to discuss and wrestle with together.

THIS MONTH: Rev. Chad Collins, pastor of Valley View Presbyterian Church in Garfield and a member of FOSNA (Friends of Sabeel North America), will speak on liberation theology, specifically how Christian liberation theology connects Palestine and black liberation in our context.

Appetizers will be provided. Drinks can be purchased at Full Pint. There will be time for table discussion and Q&A.

$5 suggested donation-- all proceeds will benefit FOSNA. FOSNA is a nonprofit Christian ecumenical organization seeking justice and peace in the Holy Land through nonviolent advocacy and education. It is part of Sabeel, an international peace movement initiated by Palestinian Christians, who seek a just peace as defined by international law and existing United Nations resolutions.
